Computer Engineering Student • Backend • Systems • Infrastructure
I'm a Computer Engineering student at Thapar Institute. Currently, I'm working as a software developer intern building the university's production accreditation platform. Outside of work, I spend my time exploring backend systems, distributed architectures, Linux virtualization, databases, and developer tools.
I maintain a Proxmox homelab and daily-drive Fedora Silverblue because I genuinely enjoy understanding how software behaves under real-world constraints.
Professional Experience
Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology
Software Developer InternBuilt and maintained production backend systems supporting university accreditation processes.
Farmer Dairy
Freelance Backend DeveloperBuilt an e-commerce backend platform integrating payments, Redis caching, and Google Cloud production deployment.
Swachhalita
Full Stack & Automation InternBuilt internal automation tooling and contributed full-stack updates to core server deployments.
Featured Explorations
A distributed systems design exploration into scheduling and sandboxing user-submitted model training runs on untrusted, heterogeneous gaming rigs. Rejects standard root-privileged Docker daemons to protect host nodes.
A production backend accreditation platform built during my Software Developer internship to translate manual institutional spreadsheets and course mapping matrices into a secure, role-isolated database system.
An open-source developer tool (PyPI) that prunes LLM context budgets using tree-sitter S-expression queries. Extracts function signatures and block definitions while stripping inner statement blocks.
Notes
Let's build something.
I'm always happy to talk about backend engineering, distributed systems, infrastructure, Linux, developer tooling, or interesting problems in general. If something here resonated with you, I'd love to hear from you.
